First Index Announces Maddalone as New Vice President and CFO

Whippany, NJ, February 27, 2006 - First Index, Inc., the leading provider e-sourcing solutions for engineered components, has announced that Anthony Maddalone has joined First Index as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.  Anthony is responsible for the Company’s financial, administrative and human resources operations. 

Anthony brings to First Index over 20 years of financial management experience. Most recently, Anthony was the VP and CFO at Broadbeam Corporation where he oversaw all facets of the company’s financial, administrative, human resources, legal and IT operations and provided management guidance to the customer support and software quality assurance functions.  Anthony was a key member of management involved in a series of private equity financing totaling $40 million.

Prior to that Anthony came from Logic Works, Inc. (now a subsidiary of Computer Associates), where he held a variety of executive management positions including Vice President of European Finance & Operations (based in Switzerland and the United Kingdom) and VP & Controller.  As the VP and Controller, Anthony was responsible for building and managing the company's worldwide financial and MIS organizations and was a key member of management involved in the company's IPO in October, 1995. 

Before joining Logic Works, Anthony held executive and financial positions with AT Maddalone CPA PC, JM Huber & Company and Ernst & Young. 

Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a MBA and BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
