Gerald Christopher
Executive Chairman
Jerry has been the Chairman of the First Index Board of Directors since March 2004 and has been actively involved in the company. He is experienced in emerging venture capital backed and Fortune 500 international companies in both turnaround and fast growth environments. He has worked for manufacturing, software, hardware and services companies over the past 35 years. He has been Chairman and Board member of numerous early stage, venture backed companies.
Jerry is the past President & CEO of Amber Wave Systems [fast ethernet switches], Extension Technology [network interface cards and software] and Channel Computing [client server software - Forest & Trees & Infopump]. He was co-founder, CFO and COO of Aries Technology [Mechanical Computer Aided Engineering software], CFO of Bachman Information Systems [NASDAQ - software tools] and held financial positions with Applicon [CAD/CAM], Digital Equipment Corporation. [mini computers] and Container Corporation of America [paperboard packaging].
Jerry was an Operating Partner for Bessemer Venture Partners from 2000 to 2004 during which time he assisted various portfolio companies with operational and management issues.
Jerry has an MBA from Northern Illinois University and BS in mathematics from Bradley University.

 Abbie McKee
Sales Manager
For over 7 years, Abbie has been committed to the success of First Index members. As Sales Manager at First Index, she is responsible for helping both new and renewing customers find long-lasting, profitable manufacturing relationships with quality buyers. Along with a thorough understanding of US and Canadian manufacturing, Abbie ensures the entire Sales Department develops an understanding of every customer's business and goals.
With a B.S. in Business Marketing from Washington State University, Abbie brings extensive experience in manufacturing, business operations, communications, and strategic planning to First Index. She is a wife and mother to two boys and is an avid runner.

 Sheri Ritchie
Member Services Manager
As Member Services Manager, Sheri Ritchie takes pride in the First Index Support team, who are considered the best in the industry! After establishing the team in 2001, she has worked with the team and members over the last 8 years to implement proactive strategies, provide coaching, and guide members toward maximum results and satisfaction. Additionally, Sheri holds the position of Sr. National Account Manager, focusing on membership renewal.
Sheri’s background includes over 20 years of marketing and entrepreneurial experience, and has received numerous awards and achievements as a sales leader with a national advertising company. She also established, co-owned and published a successful Southern California magazine.

 Adrienne Jones
Sourcing Manager
As Sourcing Manager, Adrienne is responsible for the overall management of our Buyer Services Department, whose priority is to create and maintain relationships with buyers and suppliers within the US and Canada manufacturing community. Adrienne has over three years of hands-on operational experience interacting with buyers and suppliers in all industries to help them create efficiency and opportunity in procuring and producing custom-manufactured parts.
Adrienne has a background in marketing and most recently assisted with the operation of a family-owned business. She holds a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations from Gonzaga University.
Shane Steele
Director of Information Technology
As Director of Information Technology, Shane Steele is responsible for overseeing the technical development of our internal and external web-based products, managing various IT project initiatives, prioritizing site upgrades and defect repair to ensure the highest possible level of service, and providing technical assistance to support our customized product line. Shane has over 12 years of business management and 6 years of technical management experience. Shane joined First Index in 2004 and was appointed Director of Information Technology in 2008.
Before joining First Index, Shane worked for Verizon Communications in quality management and was certified as a ISO-9001 internal auditor. Shane holds a B.S. in Management Studies and attended graduate school at the University of Maryland, U.C.
