John Jung,
President and Chief Executive Officer


John brings to First Index relevant background and leadership experience in the growth and development of companies that facilitate commerce between buyers and suppliers. As Chief Executive, John is responsible for the growth and success of First Index. Prior to joining First Index, John served as Chief Operating Officer of Perfect Commerce, a leading on-demand SRM company serving 190 of Fortune 1000 clients globally. He helped Perfect Commerce double in size through a merger with Pantellos and improve the commercial, fulfillment and technology operations. Prior to Perfect Commerce, John was Chief Operating Officer and Board Director of Achilles Group Limited where he helped grow and improve profitability, directing business units in some 11 countries around the world. Prior to Achilles, John was Executive Vice President of Operations for Pantellos Group, a vertical-sponsored e-marketplace launched by 21 of the 25 largest utilities in North America. He helped Pantellos become the first vertical sponsored e-marketplace to reach a position of positive cash flow. Prior to Pantellos, John served as Managing Director of the e-marketplace consulting practice of CommerceOne and also brings strategy consulting experience from A.T. Kearney and Braxton Associates. He holds a Master's of Business Administration with the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor's in Economics and Science.

 
 

Ron
Ron DeBlis,
Vice President of Global Sales


As Vice President of Global Sales Ron DeBlis leads worldwide commercial activities for First Index's Global Sourcing Services. Ron brings over 20 years of enterprise solution sales, marketing, professional services, and alliance partner experience, with an emphasis on helping purchasing organizations.
Prior to First Index Ron was Vice President of Sales for Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) in Global Major Customer sales channel and over the past 12 years built D&B’s Supply Management Solutions business. Ron’s hands-on approach and leadership also led to key customer wins including The Home Depot, Lockheed Martin, MasterCard, Pitney Bowes, General Dynamics, and the United States Government Department of Defense.
Prior to D&B, Ron served Vice President of Professional Services at elcom, inc. where he led a team that sold and provided supplier enablement services to support elcom’s e-procurement supplier marketplace.
Ron holds a B.S. in Marketing from Quinnipiac University

 

 

Clark Rauer,
Vice President of Supplier Sales and Western Operations

As Vice President of Supplier Sales & Western Operations Clark Rauer leads nationwide activities for First Index's Domestic Supplier and Sourcing Services. Clark brings over 15 years of marketing, advertising and graphic design professional services.  Clark began his tenure at First Index in Member Services, then advanced to Supplier Sales and finally to Director of Renewals and Research before his appointment to VP.
Prior to First Index Clark was the Sales & Marketing Manager for Adventure Tech, a manufacturer of technical apparel and equipment whose customer base was military and government. Clark’s innovative approach and leadership led to monumental growth of existing as well as new accounts showing growth of over 100%. Prior to Adventure Tech, Clark owned and operated Rauer Design, Inc, an award winning graphic design and marketing firm.  Clark began his career as Art Director for two large advertising agencies in the Pacific Northwest.

Clark holds a BFA from the University of Idaho.
