Information:	Founded in 1976 and located near St. Louis Missouri, Production Castings has become a leading supplier of zinc and aluminum die castings to various industries throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. With over 40 die cast machines ranging in size from 5 tons to 650 tons, Production Castings has the ability and experience to produce everything from high speed miniature zinc castings to large aluminum castings weighing up to 8 pounds. We utilize the latest shot monitoring equipment and robotics to achieve unsurpassed quality and productivity. As support for our die casting operations, Production Castings has its own modern tool and die shop with 14 mold makers and 3 die designers. Our designers use the latest software from Solid Works and Mastercam. Through the use of automation and increased efficiencies, our tooling prices are very competitive. As a result of that fact, we design and build 95% of our customer’s tools. If you already have a tooling source, we have a team of design engineers that will work with them to assure that the dies you are having made will work for us and will also meet your quality expectations. Production Castings is more than just die castings. We offer many value added services such as machining, finishing and sub assemblies. We have our own on site precision machining department with 10 CNC machining centers. We also have our own powder coating facility with 2 booths that were designed specifically for zinc and aluminum die castings. Production Castings also has a complete plating facility that offers everything from chromate conversion coatings to chrome plating. As a leader in our field, we have earned numerous quality and service awards. Our most recent accomplishment was winning the North American Die Casting Associations award for “excellence in aluminum die casting” and winning the award again for “excellence in zinc die casting”.
